What It Means to be Black at Adler 2020 ReportDr. Nataka Moore, Core Faculty in the Chicago Psychology Department, in conjunction with the Adler Black Student Association (ABSA) on the Chicago Campus, have been working all year to produce an updated version of the ‘What it Means to be Black at Adler’ report. This report captures testimonials from a broad cross-section of Black community members on the Chicago Campus and their experiences at Adler University. The document has been shared with the Administration and will be reviewed in Cabinet in the coming weeks. In the coming month, the University will be sharing a series of pledges related to addressing systemic racism at Adler. These pledges will be based on the feedback received in ‘What It Means to be Black at Adler’, as well as feedback coming from the Black Community Gatherings happening across all three campuses.
