PsyD - Chicago: Instruction

Library instruction

I provide instruction sessions on information literacy in specific courses throughout your time at Adler. In each session, we build on concepts learned previously, and work on honing new skills based on the needs for different classes.

What is information literacy?

Requires the ability to "recognize when information is needed and have the ability to locate, evaluate, and use effectively the needed information." (American Library Association. (1989). Presidential Committee on Information Literacy. Final Report. Chicago, IL: American Library Association.)
