If you're in a mental health field, most of your research will involve psychology/counseling, so you'll usually want to start with PsycINFO. Adler uses the Ovid interface for PsycINFO because it allows for more expert searching.

Other resources

If you're not in a mental health field or are doing research in other disciplines, you might use other databases. APA PsycInfo is still helpful for business and education. However, we also have databases in sociology, climate change, and interdisciplinary fields, which are helpful for public policy. Many of our databases use the EBSCOhost platform.
