Online Campus Library Services for Faculty: Print Books for Adler Students, Faculty, and Staff in Illinois

This guide will connect you to all of Adler University Library's resources.

I-Share for Illinois residents

Adler University students, faculty, and staff who are residents of Illinois have access to print books owned by I-Share libraries.

See below for information on searching I-Share through the Adler catalog and for creating an I-Share account.

Search I-Share Libraries

1.Start your search in Adler's catalog. On the Adler Library homepage, www.adler.edu/library, hover over Collections and select Catalog.

2.Adler doesn't own the book searched for below, so use the drop-down menu to repeat your search in I-Share libraries.

3. Check "Hide eResources to Which I Don't Have Access" since you can't use e-books from I-Share, only print books.

4.Click on the title of your book, then choose Request 1st Available.

5. You will then need to log in to your I-Share account, or create one.

Create an I-Share Account

1. When you find a book you want to borrow owned at another I-Share Library, select Request 1st Available.

2. If you don't already have an I-Share account, create a new account now.

3. Fill in all required information and hit the Submit button.
