Adlerian Resources: Digitized Archival Videos

Digitized Archival Videos

The Adler University Library and the Center for Adlerian Practice and Scholarship are collaborating on a project to digitize the University's collection of archival video tapes.

All videos are available online to anyone with an Adler University log in at this link, and the 75 titles have been organized into topical playlists.

All digitization is made possible by a generous grant from Ellen Mendel, LCSW, president of the Alfred Adler Institute of New York.

These tapes are valuable historic records of the University's founders and important teaching tools.  The collection includes videos featuring Rudolf Dreikurs, Bronia Grunwald, Bernard Shulman, Eva Dreikurs Ferguson, and Harold Mosak and includes case studies, open forum family counseling sessions, lectures on the history of Adlerian psychology, and Dreikurs' Theory and Demonstration of Family Counseling series.

A second batch of videos will be digitized this fall and available online in spring 2024.  This next collection, containing 185 videos, includes most of Harold Mosak's Adlerian Psychology from Scratch series.
