Sage Research Methods contains 2 important book series: Little Green Books & Little Blue Books. These short and accessible guide provide clear examples and procedures on many different methodologies. The Little Green Books cover quantitative research methods, and the Little Blue Books cover qualitative research methods.
After you have chosen a methodology, you might try searching for articles on your subject that use your selected methodology. This can be helpful to see examples of how that methodology was used. There are a couple of different ways we can try to find articles on our methodology.
Journal articles often have their methodology listed in their title or abstract, which means we can use keywords to search for that methodology. A search for methodologies on our topic in a database might looks something like these examples.
Some databases have filter options to filter by specific methodologies. In this search method, you could search for your topic, then apply the filter that corresponds to your methodology.
