If you don't need to administer the test, or are looking for information and reviews of commercially available tests, these are places where you can find reputable and critical reviews, and test descriptions.
Mental Measures Yearbooks are put together by the Buros Center for Testing, a non-profit, independent test review center, focusing on psychology and education.
Buros publishes authoritative reference materials that contain descriptions and candidly critical evaluations of commercially available tests, which helps professionals involved in the evaluation, selection, and use of tests.
*Note: Information from this database should be used in conjunction with (not instead of) the test's manual.
1. Search for the assessment tool's name.
*Hint: Use the test's full name, not the abbreviation.
2. Then, scroll down to find the appropriate test and click "Complete Reference"
3. Complete Reference provides information on population, scores, time, and a brief test description. Full Text provides a review of the test. After the first review's references, there might be a second review, but there will not be any header to indicate this.
Therefore: read the review carefully!
1. Search for the assessment name.
2. Select a subject heading that matches the name of the assessment.
3. Then search for Reliability.
4. Select the subject heading for test reliability.
5. In your search history, combine the two searches with AND.
