Ebooks for Online Students: Using the Library Catalog

Adler University Library provides access to over 250,000 ebook titles that you can read online.

Begin on the Library Catalog page which looks like this:

Tips for Finding Ebooks in the Library Catalog

 

  • Search for books by topic, author, or title in the LIBRARY CATALOG and press enter Limit results menu in library catalog

  • To view ebooks, limit your search results to "Available Online" and "Resource Type" > Books

  • NOTE: Sometimes an ebook only allows 1 person at a time to view it.  If you get a message that says the book it not currently available, check back in an hour. 

  • Read the book online to begin with.  If you need the book for longer periods of time, download the book and you will be prompted to check it out for a few days.
